What is a Good Faith Estimate?
3.
You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers are required to provide patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance with an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services.
You may ask for a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or photo of your Good Faith Estimate.

How do you use art therapy in counseling?
11.
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Board-Certified Art Therapist, I integrate art therapy and counseling based on your individual needs and goals. Art can provide another way to explore emotions, experiences, patterns, and thoughts that may be difficult to express through words alone. You don't need to consider yourself artistic, and you don't have to use art in every session.
Do I have to be artistic to participate in art therapy?
12.
No! Art therapy does not require artistic ability or the production of refined artwork; rather, it emphasizes emotional expression through creative mediums. It offers a powerful avenue for self-expression without words, frequently unlocking unconscious thoughts and feelings.
